DigiLocal – 81C Arts’ Digital Arts & Animation After School Program

DigiLocal is 81C Arts’ cutting-edge after school program designed to equip youth with practical tech skills and unleash their creative potential through the power of digital art. Students ages 12–18 explore digital illustration, animation, and design while developing real-world computer proficiency in a fun, hands-on environment.

With state-of-the-art equipment and individualized instruction, DigiLocal is more than an art class—it’s a launchpad for the next generation of creative thinkers, designers, and digital citizens.

What Students Learn:

• Digital Illustration & Animation: Using leading creative software and techniques
• Digital Literacy & Citizenship: Responsible and safe internet use, data privacy, and media awareness
• Computer Skills: Mastering operating systems and navigating various devices
• Tech Proficiency: Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic design programs
• Digital Navigation: Smart use of browsers, search engines, and online platforms
• Creative Projects: Students complete personal and group-based design assignments to build portfolios

OTS’s commitment to educational equity and youth development in the Virgin Islands makes it possible for 81C Arts to provide full scholarship slots for this high-impact digital arts program. (Main Street, St Thomas)
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 3:30-6PM

Drop off is 3:15PM / Pickup is 6PM.
