DigiLocal is 81C Arts’ cutting-edge after school program designed to equip youth with practical tech skills and unleash their creative potential through the power of digital art. Students ages 12–18 explore digital illustration, animation, and design while developing real-world computer proficiency in a fun, hands-on environment.
With state-of-the-art equipment and individualized instruction, DigiLocal is more than an art class—it’s a launchpad for the next generation of creative thinkers, designers, and digital citizens.

OTS’s commitment to educational equity and youth development in the Virgin Islands makes it possible for 81C Arts to provide full scholarship slots for this high-impact digital arts program. By removing financial barriers, Orange Tree is helping ensure that every student—regardless of background—can access the tools, mentorship, and opportunities to thrive in today’s creative and technological landscape.

At its core, DigiLocal is a creative home for every teen—where curiosity is nurtured, community is celebrated, and imagination takes flight in a safe, inspiring space to explore creativity, build confidence, and connect with others. Through this program, we foster not only digital fluency, but personal growth, mentorship, and long-term creative community impact.
Location: 81C Arts Education Center / Camille Pissarro House, 14 Dronningens Gade

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 3:30-6PM
Drop off is 3:15PM / Pickup is 6PM.

A digital media specialist from the College of Westchester and UVI, Jenique brings a passion for creativity and tech education to every session. Her teaching style centers around customized, student-focused learning—meeting each child where they are and helping them thrive through project-based exploration.
When she’s not leading DigiLocal, Jenique is active on 81C Arts' Art + Education Advisory Council and develops multimedia content across animation, illustration, and web design.
